Here are some drapery studies I did. Some are master copies of Norman Rockwell and others are just sketches of people's arms in the library.

Hi and welcome to my blogspot. I've included a few paintings that I have worked on over the past few months. Most of the paintings are between 3 to 4 feet on the long side just to give you an idea of scale. Some are more successful than others, yet all have helped me to progress as a painter. The hands are the best part of this painting. I really feel that I am onto something with the way the form is modeled in that its not overly rendered and has some interesting brushwork.
